Nukui Dam is the highest existing dam (156 m) in the Western Japan situated on the Takiyama river, Kake town, Hiroshima Pref, Japan.

Nukui Dam is a concrete arch dam located about 30 km north of Hiroshima City,on the Takiyama River which is protected by slick rock (B class rock) . It was built in 1967-2001. It has one of the high technology dam in the world.
